Highland Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, was founded in 2022 by visionary entrepreneur Mr. Pratik Jena and his family. Our mission is to establish a world-class shrimp processing unit in Balasore, Odisha, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure.

The company has received a sanctioned subsidy of ₹10 crore from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, under the scheme for Integrated Cold Chain and Value Addition Infrastructure. The plant commenced full-scale operations in November 2021 with a robust production capacity of 80MT per day.

Within a short span, we have achieved an export turnover of ₹161 crore by March 2022, positioning ourselves as a key player in the global seafood industry.

We take pride in our world-class facilities and partnerships with leading industry names such as Glory for IQF & DSI plate freezers, Evapco for condensers, Blitzer refrigeration, Emirates cold storage panels, and Comb Lift systems for streamlined storage operations. Our fleet of 45 refrigerated vehicles ensures seamless logistics and efficient cold chain management.
